Entry qualification | High school / secondary education (or higher) (1.) You need to submit unofficial transcripts and supporting documentation. => The normal basis for admission is completion of the credentials that lead to university admission in your country of study. Students who have completed or will complete these or other recognized pre-university diplomas (such as the European Baccalaureate) are eligible to apply to McGill. Given McGill’s competitive admission process and the academic rigour of all programs, applicants from overseas vocational and technical high schools are not normally considered for admission. (2.) Applicants are reviewed on their high school transcript with particular emphasis on yearly averages and results in prerequisite subjects, particularly mathematics, chemistry & physics. These prerequisite subjects must have been completed during the last two years of high school. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take verified copies of the entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |
