Entry qualification | Undergraduate diploma (or higher) Applicants must: (1.) Complete an online application to Graduate Education and hold an undergraduate or graduate degree from a college or university recognized by ASU. (2.) Have completed a minimum of a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in architectural studies or similar preprofessional degree in architecture. The bachelor’s degree must be granted by an institution that offers the National Architectural Accrediting Board accredited degree program in architecture. (4.) Meet the minimum GPA requirements as established by Graduate Education. (5.) Provide an official copy of GRE scores (unofficial copies will not be accepted). For more information, visit the GRE website or uoeee.asu.edu/testing. (6.) Proof of English proficiency. (7.) A portfolio. (8.) Letter of intent. (9.) Contact information of three references must also be submitted via SlideRoom (asuherberger.slideroom.com). The Design School requires that these be submitted in addition to the Graduate Education application requirements. => All international transcripts must be submitted in the original language accompanied by an official English translation. Translations must be literal, complete versions of the originals and must be translated by a university, government official or official translation service. You may not complete your own translation. Photocopies and notarized transcripts are NOT acceptable. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take verified copies of the entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |

Other requirements | At least 3 reference(s) must be provided. The applicant must submit contact information of three references via SlideRoom. A motivation letter must be added to your application. The applicant must provide a letter of intent. A relevant portfolio is required. A personal interview is not required; however, a candidate wishing to visit the school is welcome and should make arrangements by contacting the department.
