Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
Our Pre-sessional English Courses commence at specific stages throughout the year. The course you apply for will depend on your current English Language level and the English Language requirement for the academic programme that you wish to study. Entry requirements are specified in the left-hand menu.
Please note that you must have a valid Secure English Language Test (SELT) certificate to be considered for entry on to a Pre-sessional Course. Your certificate must be valid up to the start date of your Pre-sessional English Course. Currently, IELTS for UKVI and Trinity English are the only two English tests deemed to be a SELT. These are both valid for two years from the test date.
A Secure English Language Test (SELT) taken after 6th April 2015 should note a UKVI number on your certificate. If you have taken a Secure English Language Test (SELT) taken between 6th April and 22nd April 2015 and it does not quote a valid UKVI number, we are able to accept it for entry to a Pre-sessional EAP that commences in 2014/15 academic year only (until the end of August 2015). For entry to a Pre-sessional EAP programme that commences after the 1st September 2015, you must present a SELT certificate with a valid UKVI number noted on it.
