Entry qualification | Postgraduate diploma (or higher) Normally students will hold a first or second class honours degree or recognised equivalent relevant and in some cases a recognised masters degree or equivalent relevant to the proposed programme of study, or appropriate research or professional experience which resulted in published work, written reports or other appropriate evidence of accomplishment. Formal transfer from MPhil to PhD registration will occur subject to approval by your thesis panel from the start of your registration. Should you not transfer to PhD level, you would be expected to complete your MPhil within two years. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original.
